Couriers such as FedEx and Canada Post are not permitted to go to patient rooms, so the package is delivered to the hospital's shipping and receiving department, and hospital staff bring it up to the room. Some hospitals do this within hours and others take a day or so, so please make sure the recipient will still be at the hospital at the time of delivery. Include the patient's full name, unit, and room number in the delivery notes at checkout.

"I ordered a gift basket for a family friend that needed to be at their school by a certain date. The website stated 2 day delivery eta based on postal code data, I wouldn't have ordered if that wasn't possible. 2 day delivery turned into 6 days and will be delivered to a school that will be out for summer holidays. The website is advertising delivery eta's that are clearly dishonest. I would not recommend this company, complete waste of money."
