What is Metropolitan Areas?

The 1-3 Business Day Service offered by FedEx applies to City Centers / Major Metropolitan Cities. If your shipping address is not considered by FedEx as a metropolitan area then it may take an additional 1-2 Business Days.

On-time delivery guarantee

Canada Post may revoke or adjust their On-time delivery guarantee at any time. Some exclusions fund below.

  • Flight delays or cancellations
  • Riots
  • Labour disruptions
  • Equipment failures
  • Unanticipated surges in volume



It is important that you provide us with the complete and accurate delivery information for your recipient at the time of submitting your order.
If you discover the address error while the Item is in transit then Fedex and Canada Post will charge 17$ Plus taxes to make an address correction.



Sometimes, despite their best efforts, our shipping providers are unable to deliver a gift basket due to several reasons, As listed in Common Errors Below.
If a gift basket cannot be delivered and is returned to our headquarters, You will be alerted via the email address associated to your account. We will reship the gift basket; but you will be charged shipping and return fees.
If we receive no response from the you within 60 days, the package will be donated and delivered to a local food bank.


  • Incorrect Postal Code
  • Incorrect/Missing Appartment Number
  • No Buzzer number
  • Incorrect Phone Number
  • Missing PO Box
  • Incorrect House Number
  • Delivery notice card left; and item was unclaimed by recipient
  • The item was rejected upon delivery
  • Recipient moved/relocated


All returns and exchanges require preauthorization from Glitter Gift Baskets through email at The Gift Basket(s) should be returned in their original packaging. No credit or replacement will be issued until the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by our customer service department. Shipping costs for the return shipment are the customer's responsibility unless the item was delivered damaged or defective.

It is required that all returns be returned within 14 days of delivery and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Processing a return/exchange may take up to 10 business days. All refunds are issued for the product's purchase price only and can only be issued to the same credit card used at the time of purchase.

*Shipping charges cannot be refunded, Christmas-themed seasonal items and customized/ personalized items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

*If using your own shipping provider we recommend using a trackable insured shipping service.









** If your gift was shipped with the FREE ground shipping by Canada post they will make a delivery attempt and if no one is home they will leave a delivery notice on the door and the gift can be picked up at their nearest post office OR they sometimes "safe drop" it outside the house. The recipient has 2 weeks to claim the gift. If it is not claimed then it gets sent back to Glitter Gift Baskets and at that time a reshipping fee will occur. All shipping methods include insurance for the gift.


Hospital Deliveries
It is not recommended to ship gifts to hospitals. Glitter Gift Baskets can assure you as to when the gift will be delivered to the hospital but we make no guarantees of when the hospital will transfer the gift to the patient.

It is preferred to ship the gift to the home.




ONLY BABY BASKETS can be shipped to the USA

No food products can be shipped to the United States.

  • Fedex and Canada Post are not able call the recipients prior to delivery
  • Rural areas take longer for delivery (usually add an additional (1-3 days) A Quick and easy way to know if the delivery area is rural is to check the postal code. If there are zero's in the postal code then that area is rural.
