For our customers residing in remote or rural locations, please be advised that our primary free shipping service via Canada Post may have specific delivery limitations. In certain remote areas, Canada Post may not offer door-to-door delivery and will instead drop off your package at the nearest local post office for collection. We recommend checking with your local post office if you do not receive your package as expected.

For guaranteed door-to-door delivery, even in remote areas, consider using our FedEx shipping option, available at an additional cost.

If you need to contact Canada Post or FedEx for information, please note they will only speak to Glitter Gift Baskets or the Recipient of the Gift. Only mention the recipients name and address when contacting FedEx or Canada Post as they do not have your information.

What is Metropolitan Areas?

The 1-3 Business Day Service offered by FedEx applies to City Centers / Major Metropolitan Cities. If your shipping address is not considered by FedEx as a metropolitan area then it may take an additional 1-2 Business Days.

Canada Post may revoke or adjust their On-time delivery guarantee at any time. Some exclusions fund below.

ADDRESS CORRECTIONS OR REROUTING WHILE IN TRANSIT


It is important that you provide us with the complete and accurate delivery information for your recipient at the time of submitting your order.

If you discover the address error while the Item is in transit then Fedex and Canada Post will charge 17$ Plus taxes to make an address correction.

 

UNDELIVERABLE - (GIFT BASKET RETURNED TO US)

Sometimes, despite their best efforts, our shipping providers are unable to deliver a gift basket due to several reasons, As listed in Common Errors Below.
If a gift basket cannot be delivered and is returned to our headquarters, You will be alerted via the email address associated to your account. We will reship the gift basket; but you will be charged shipping and return fees.
If we receive no response from the you within 60 days, the package will be donated and delivered to a local food bank.

COMMON ERRORS

  • Incorrect Postal Code
  • Incorrect/Missing Appartment Number
  • No Buzzer number
  • Incorrect Phone Number
  • Missing PO Box
  • Incorrect House Number
  • Delivery notice card left; and item was unclaimed by recipient
  • The item was rejected upon delivery
  • Recipient moved/relocated

 

** If your gift was shipped with the FREE ground shipping by Canada post they will make a delivery attempt and if no one is home they will leave a delivery notice on the door and the gift can be picked up at their nearest post office OR they sometimes "safe drop" it outside the house. The recipient has 2 weeks to claim the gift. If it is not claimed then it gets sent back to Glitter Gift Baskets and at that time a reshipping fee will occur. All shipping methods include insurance for the gift.

 


Hospital Deliveries
It is not recommended to ship gifts to hospitals. Glitter Gift Baskets can assure you as to when the gift will be delivered to the hospital but we make no guarantees of when the hospital will transfer the gift to the patient.

It is preferred to ship the gift to the home.

 

 

USA DELIVERY


ONLY BABY BASKETS can be shipped to the USA

No food products can be shipped to the United States.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed or shipped
  • Fedex and Canada Post are not able call the recipients prior to delivery
  • Rural areas take longer for delivery (usually add an additional (1-3 days) A Quick and easy way to know if the delivery area is rural is to check the postal code. If there are zero's in the postal code then that area is rural.
